Taj Mahal MarbleThe Taj Mahal is constructed of marble but its beauty and magnificence was not realised until relative recently; during the 19th century a local land owner sold the Taj Mahal for the weight of marble that was used to construct the wonder. He had the original intension that the Taj Mahal be demolished and marble used for other dwellings!
